Scientific Research

The primary mission of this effort will be to further the scientific exploration of Tesla’s work through research efforts, primarily done by collaborative projects by graduate and post-graduate students from the USA and Serbia.

The scientific research program will be built with initially two centers of focus: Belgrade and Miami. In these two cities the Center and Foundation will set up physical infrastructure and provide organizational, administrative, logistical support for the collaborative research projects. The Foundation will provide student grants to enable researchers to participate in the projects.

The main goal of the projects would be to take on engineering/technology ideas from the body of Tesla’s work and/or subjects related to the Tesla Doctrine, and further them through 2-12 months long developmental efforts, done collaboratively by students from participating universities in the US and Serbia, and supported by the experts from the collaborating universities as well as resources available through the Nikola Tesla Museum.

Depending on the specific project and available expertise, technical and research support, some of these would be organized in the US (Miami) and some in Serbia (Belgrade). The students/researchers working in a team would be helped/funded to do at least a part of their project work and time at a location where they can work together. As the NTF raises more funding, the number and/or scale of the projects can increase.
